'Raise a Hallelujah' was born out of a spontaneous moment in worship and prayer after husband and wife duo Jonathan David and Melissa Helser had heard the news that Jaxon Taylor, son of Bethel Music CEO Joel Taylor, was in a life-threatening situation. Mighty declarations like, “I raise a hallelujah in the presence of my enemies / I raise a hallelujah louder than the unbelief,” were written the very night that Joel and Janie Taylor, a family in our community who helped found and launch Bethel Music, faced the possible loss of their son Jaxon. The update shouldn't change anything with the instrumentation and the change in levels to accommodate for the new BGV's was very minimal - nothing that would bring a drastic change.
